345th Anniversary

Members of the Yallahs-Trinityville Cure gathered at St. David’s Church for their patronal festival on 1st. March 2009 (St. David’s Day).The Revd. Jean Fairweather-Wilson, priest-in-charge, celebrated Mass with guest preacher, the Revd. Franklyn Jackson, The Church of the Transfiguration, Meadowbrook. A packed Church celebrated the occasion with the presentation of citations and gifts to faithful, long-serving members.

At All saints Church, The Abbey, Llandewey. Mrs. Philiceta Garnett, the oldest member of All Saints, was 100 years old in April 2007.

Archbishop of Wales visits Yallahs

The Primate and Archbishop of Wales, the Most Revd. Barry Morgan, was celebrant and quest preacher at St. David's Church, Yallahs in May 2009. He had been in Jamaica as a delegate to the 14th Anglican Consultative Council meeting in Kingston and came with his wife Mrs. Hilary Morgan, to St. David's to meet with member of the congregation after the services.
